Mississauga Clinch

Mississauga is now one of seven teams to have clinched a playoff spot. With their current 4 game win streak which is 2nd best current streak at the moment they have also bumped up to 5th place on the ladder. As the ladder stands at the moment Mississauga would go up against Halifax 21st in the 1st round of playoffs. Halifax and Mississauga have a had quite a few tough games between the two with most games having a scoreline of 5-4. If this ends up being the first round of playoffs I can imagine that the goalies both Rayz Funk and Micheal Johnson could make or break the series.

 

With the Hounds still needing to play another 14 games though anything could happen. We reached out to the players of the Hounds to see if they had anything to say about their recent success and clinching the playoff spot and Berocka Sundqvist had this to say.

"I believe that the team is clicking all around. Their is great chemistry in the locker room no man is out for self glory, but wants the best for the team. I think we can go deep into the playoffs and really upset some of the bigger teams."

 

Well there you have it Mississauga have clinched a playoff spot and they think they can make a good run at it.
