Season 27 Regular Season - 72 GP | 11 W | 56 L | 5 OTL | 27 P | 160 GF | 394 GA

The slow rebuild continues as the Wranglers didn't have a first round pick in this past draft as they picked in the 2nd round twice and that was that. Despite finishing with one of the worst records, the Wranglers didn't pick until pick 9 and 10 of the 2nd round which followed up last years showing of 2 picks as well. So with a team in desperate need of young players to help the rebuild, the Wranglers were not able to rebuild as well as they wanted.

Season 27 was another forgettable season in franchise history as the Wranglers just broke 10 wins finishing with 11 and 27 points. The Wranglers started off the decade as one of the most successful but they have struggle for 5 of the 7 seasons since Season 20. The Wranglers were moving in a new direction moving on from old GM Jardy who led them to a Season 24 I think it was championship and now Jason Glasser will take over the helm. The new GM decided to rebuild the rebuild and trade away everyone except those he thought would help. So basically it was just Alexander Chersenko who was left and he led the team with 84 points. Then we had Seth Plaut who put up 57 points from defense and Sarmad Khan who was a trade acquisition who had 28 points in 18 games. That was it for skaters as redacted was still tending net and he put up a 10-48-4 record with a 0.864 save percentage and a 5.14 G.A.A. That was it, this was all the players left worth noting.

As you can tell, the rebuild the rebuild plan was no in action and let's see if anything comes to fruition from it.

Season 27 Playoffs - N/A

The Calgary Wranglers didn't qualify for the playoffs in Season 27.

Trades:

Not available until Season 35

Awards:

No Wranglers won any awards in Season 27.

Overall:

Rebuild take 2  is starting to take place in Calgary. New GM, New Players. It should be interesting to see what happens in the next few seasons.

Lars Intranquilo added to his games played, assists, PIM, hits and shots blocked which makes him the franchise leader in all these categories. He is one of the most decorated defenseman in franchise history and he did this during one of the darkest times in franchise history though which might be why he's not mentioned as one of the franchise greats. So far, he is one of 3 player to break 400 career points and he finished his Wrangler career just 32 points behind Jardy Bunclwirth from Season 20-27. Jeff Dar became the 6th player to break the 200 career point mark while Alvin Yu was traded just before breaking 100 points. Alexander Chersenko looks to climb the list and do it fast has he has 84 points after 1 season which places him 14th all time. Redacted moves into 2nd all time with his 30 wins. Redacted, Alejandro Messi and Zach Henning combine for 64 wins in 352 games while Joey Clarence has 104 wins in 170 games. That speaks volumes of their goaltending in bad years.
