There was shock and disbelieve in the Marlins locker room after game 4. The Marlins just lost 3-2 in overtime to Halifax and now they were out of their first ever playoffs.

The fans had hoped for so much more, the players expected more and the management made the moves to help them in the playoffs but in the end the dream was over in a mere 4 games.

" It sucks, for most of us this was our one and only season playing together for this franchise and we couldn't even win one game" Greg Eagles said " They just outplayed us, other then the first game blowout we were actually close. We lost 2 games in OT. If either one of those games would have gone our way, we maybe would of had a better shot"

Now instead of playing more playoff hockey, the Marlins were cleaning out there lockers and they will all be looking forward to the upcoming draft. Maybe some of them will end up on the same team after the draft but for now they have all said their goodbyes.
