As the VHLM season continues on, one of the more notable VHLM Season 37 storylines include the two goaltender prospects of the past VHL Entry Draft. After a respectable Season 36 for both young goaltenders, they're currently taking names and turning heads.

Both of the players' stats look eerily similar, making the playoff race for each of their respective teams, the Yukon Rush and the Bern Royals.

Kimmo Salo and Blaine Olynick are currently sitting tied for first place with 26 wins. With their similar save percentage at .915 and .908, same amount of shutouts with 2, although an eye opening different goals against average numbers for the two netminders (1.67 for Salo; 2.34 for Olynick), they are making this season one for the history books.

The two goalies have always been neck and neck in competition ever since Season 36 began. With the numbers the two currently have, it would be to no one's surprise if the two goalies kept this friendly competition up to when they get their VHL careers started.
