Blueberg: The Calgary Wranglers managed to trade away every pick in the S67 VHL draft, eschewing one of the largest draft classes entirely in favor of picks next season. Most notably, they traded away the 25th pick, obviously 1 pick ahead of 26th overall where you were drafted. Give us your thoughts. 

 

LeBlanc: Look, I don't really know what kinda value they got. I don't know if it was a lack of perceived value with who was available at their picks. Perhaps it was a cap space thing. I really don't know why they made the decision. First instinct is always to say they made a mistake. I was available, and I should have went. But, I haven't proven that yet. Maybe in a few seasons we will have a good reason to question the Calgary managements decision making. Now, I gotta keep putting in the work to merit my 26th overall selection. 

 

Blueberg: That's definitely a great way to look at it. How's your season been going so far down in the M'.

 

LeBlanc: Well, I'm still not contributing as much as I know I can. But, it's coming along. I think I'll start to really show what I can do as the season progresses...
