Eagles invited to S67 top prospects game

Before the season started, Greg Eagles was one of the few rookie players invited to the VHL Top Prospects game. Eagles played the full 60 minutes as his team won 10-8.

With all the future talent on the ice, Eagles put up some decent numbers and put up the best stats out of any of the goalies that participated. He ended the night with 32 saves on 40 shots. He made a few incredible saves that will be shown on highlight reels on all the major sport networks.

"It was fun, very fast paced game and felt like a future all-stars game. I was just out there to impress my team-mates and management in Vancouver and to also show the other teams what they passed on during the draft " Said Eagles " I think I did very well, I played the full game and kept my team in it. I am happy that we got the W"

Once the prospect game was finished, Eagles flew right to Vancouver to continue training with his new team so that he would be sharp for the new season.
