• Season is off to a meh start. I'm finally putting up some points from an individual standpoint, just under a point per game and I think somewhere around like 7th for points my a defenseman. Team isn't doing great - we're currently out of a playoff spot in the EU Conference, and I don't think we qualify for crossover either, but I'm not 100% on that. One of the expansion teams is first, so let's see if they can continue that for the rest of the year.
• VHL GM spot is open! There are a ton of good applicants, and I hope that those not selected don't take it personally. Just because you didn't get the spot doesn't mean you don't "deserve" it.
• The VHL is 12 years old! Wow...and to think I thought this league lasted for a while when I joined like...8 years ago. And wow..I've been here for 8 years? Time flies. 12 more years!
• I think Smitty has a very, very good chance of being my best player ever, and potentially my last chance at a Hall of Famer. We'll see, but hopefully he continues being successful.

Great point. VHL GM spots come around only once in a while, and there are lots of members (new and old) that I think could fill the spot well.

 

Not being selected now still means you could be a great candidate in the future, especially with expansion likely (necessary?) in the next couple of seasons. I hope people don't take it personally.
