Welcome back to The Music of the VHLM! This week, we are bringing you a special edition of the series, focusing on the latest rumor that has hit the VHL scene, and yes you read that right, VHL (no M). The cat’s out of the bag as it were, as VHL administration confirmed today that there will be not one, but TWO VHL expansion teams entering the fray starting in season 68. It is yet to be announced where the expansion teams will make their home, which is the subject of this article.

 

Rather than our traditional format, where we take an in depth look at the team and the song, we are just going to list some locations that have been tipped as the possible expansions. So without our further ado, here are this week’s picks!

 

Alaska: Purple Yellow Red and Blue, from Alaskan rockers Portugal. The Man.

Nuuk: Qitik, from Inuit rap group Nuuk Posse.

Hawaii: Holiday in Waikiki, from influential British working-man’s group The Kinks

Colorado: Rocky Mountain High, from the legend John Denver

Rome: Legion of Monsters, from heavy-metal icons Disturbed
