Seattle Bears History Night

The Seattle Bears are holding a history night this upcoming weekend. The event is expected to cover the history of the team and some of it’s all-time greatest players. Since starting in Season 20 of the Victory Hockey League, Seattle is one of the oldest franchises. “Many have come and gone, but Seattle is still standing, baby,” says Seattle forward Scott Greene. “I remember watching Seattle when I was much younger, It’s crazy that it’s already been 47 seasons of Seattle. Where has the time gone?”

 

Members of the Bears organization are filming a short video celebrating the history of the franchise to play at the event. The entire current Bears roster is expected to attend the event, as well as retired Bears alumni. “It’s going to be a celebration,” says Greene. “I can’t wait to speak with some of the older players about their experiences. It should be a really good time!”
