Ritchie crushed after playoff loss

"Well it was great to make the playoffs, an achievement that really didn't feel possible after a few weeks into the season where we were near the bottom of the table, but looking back now it really feels like we could have taken than series if the puck bounced our way a few times. That game six really hurt, being up 3-2 going into the third, letting it get tied up just 2 mins into the period and then going behind with just a minute and forty five seconds left was heartbreaking. 

 

Overall I'd have to say it was good though, getting crucial playoff experience for myself and the team and finishing 7th in playoff goals despite only playing 6 games should get my name out there more and make some people take notice of me. I'm glad I get to stay in San Diego for another season so we can get back there and make some real noise next season. Obviously we'll likely lose Chad Gilbert but we've got great depth in the squad so we'll be fine.
