Halifax historic reverse sweep

In the quarter finals between Halifax 21st and Minnesota Storm history was made in the seven game seasons. Halifax went down losing the first three games. Over the first three games Halifax 21st was only to score seven goals against the Storm’s fifteen. Many analysts assessed that the 21st’s were going to bow out of the tournament early. But Halifax players has another idea coming out with renewed determination beating the Storm 2-1 showcasing the elite talent of Ryan Busser scoring both Halifax goals. Halifax was very aware that their backs were against the wall but that only have them more determination. Halifax won3-0 in game five. After the game Davos Dynamo GM was quoted “ah ah ah ah stayin alive, stayin alive” and staying alive Halifax was. Over game five and six Halifax won back to back meaning they had brought it to game seven coming off three straight wins.

 

Truly do or die Aamon Grim stepped up completing a hattrick leading the 21st to a 4-2 victory and completing the historic reverse sweep.
