Toronto and Vasteras Dominating +/- Leaders

Iron Eagles and Legion Sit at Top of +/ Ranks

Not only are Keiji Toriyama and Anatoli Zhumbayev leading their teams in +/-, but also the entire league as well.

 

TORONTO, Ontario - With the S37 campaign winding down and the regular season award winners becoming clearer, the leaders of the +/- statistic are nearly transparent. Currently, the top ten leaders in +/- features eight members of either the Toronto Legion or the Vasteras Iron Eagles (the other two being on the New York Americans), with the Iron Eagles having five players on the list while the Legion have three. Representing the Legion are Anatoli Zhumbayev (+52), Niklas Lindberg (+50), and Evgeny Namestnikov (+50), while the Iron Eagles on the leaderboard are Keiji Toriyama (+54), Willem Janssen (+51), Till Lindemann (+50), Mattis Trumbauer (+44), and Cody Inko (+39). As a bit of a fun fact, of the Toronto/Vasteras forwards on that list, all of them play together on a line for their respective teams. Lines which, are arguably the best offensive lines in the VHL at the moment.
