SlapshotWrangler 864
VANCOUVER - Ryuu Crimson has signed with the Vancouver Canucks with a 2 year, $1,000,000 contract. That would give him about $500,000 per year. While he won't play in the big leagues just yet, having been sent down to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League to see what he can do, he is excited for this new opportunity. "I thought it would be cool to play in the National Hockey League when I was younger. I did end up playing in the Victory Hockey League though and I had a fun time. Still, I can't wait to see what I can do with this new chance and I hope I can make an impact." The former VHL playoff MVP has already been playing with the San Diego Gulls. He seems to be playing well, having 2 goal and 2 assists in 4 games with the Gulls this season. Best of luck to Ryuu, I think I speak for all of us when I say we can't wait to see what he can do. (Edit: Whoops! This should be a VHL.com Article. If anybody can, could you move this to that section?)
