jRuutu 2,464
San Diego Marlins is currently sitting at the 7th place in VHLM, it's looking likely that we see playoff hockey in San Diego this year. While players like Steve and Ritchie are leading the team in scoring, a young center from Canada named JaredN is shoveling away tough minutes against other team's top lines. 46 games so far in this year's regular-season - 0+22. The man can't seem to score goals, 33 shots so far and 0 goals. Some nights he does not even feel like shooting the puck, he dishes it out, so a teammate can have a go. Jareds strength is in the defensive end, he is the man in the middle - the balancer, he is the player who gives wingers a bit more freedom in the offensive end. Perhaps not the best statistic in hockey, but Jared is one of three players in San Diego who has a positive +/- rating, 22 points in 46 games while playing high-level defensive game - great stuff from a player who does a lot of dirty work for the team! I don´t know what we will do when Jared scores a goal, but I have a feeling some kind of parade will be organized.
