Maasa 35
As we all know, The Ottawa Lynx (7th Seed) are taking on The Mississauga Hounds (2nd Seed) in the first round of the playoffs, and I believe they have a serious chance to take them to seven games and maybe even best them if the right circumstances occur. Ottawa has been an up and down team this season and has surprised and disappointed throughout, they have beaten The Hounds once but every other time the Hounds have beaten them down. Ottawa has been on an a bad stretch and are going into the series on a two game losing streak while the Hounds are an on a three-game winning streak and have moved up to the second seed. Their is one thing Ottawa has that the Hounds don't and that is grit, at one point the Lynx were at the bottom of the league but they have fought back, their star defenseman Shawn Glade Jr. is a candidate for defensemen of the season and their 90+ point performer, Iangenere Risteneen, has been lighting it up for them with a recent six-point game. It is not safe to say that Mississauga is in the clear, the Lynx will fight back and give them a run for there money. No matter what the Lynx will never give in. They will continue to make the Hounds suffer for the dream of a Cup because the questions they need to ask themselves is what will we do for the title and glory of being the S69 Cup Winners? What are we willing to do? Is it worth risking my body? My future? If so prove it because I know Ottawa certainly does. -276 Words Edited December 22, 2019 by Maasa Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/74761-can-the-lynx-knock-off-the-hounds/ Share on other sites
