TheLastOlympian07 2,388
After 3 seasons of not being that good. Shawnomir Jagr was given a top line spot as well as regular PP time and he took off in his 4th season. Seasons of 16, 32 and 42 points were now things of the past as Jagr broke out for 33 goals and 50 assists for 83 points. From here on out, we should expect that Jagr will be a point per game player. In this low scoring era will he start to change the minds of those players and possibly be my first HoF player? The jury is still out but as we look at the stats right now, 288 games played, 78 goals and 97 assists for 175 points. They don't look promising but if he were to get at least 80 points in his next 4 seasons, he would finished his career with 495 points. That is still a little on the lower end but considering this low scoring era maybe it will be enough? Who knows. Hopefully he get better each season as I start to fight regression and start banking TPE right now. Jagr's playoff stats are also not the greatest with 54 games played and 29 points. Unless he breaks out for the rest of his career, it seems Jagr's slow start will be his downfall.
