Cxsquared 455
There's talks of a rebuild in Mexico City. The Kings recently came off a stellar year, finishing 3rd overall in the VHLM. Mexico City went all in with some big trades last season and it paid off with one of the best playoffs runs in Kings history. After going all in last season, it seems they are facing some struggles at the start of season 70. The King's assistant general manager, Brody Claymore, had some words for us when we asked him about the potential rebuild. This kind of thing happens in the VHLM. Teams are great one season, then need to retool the next. That isn't to say we are for sure rebuilding. It's still early in the season, and we still have a few veterans around. It's all going to depend on how the market looks this season. If we can pick up enough players on waivers and our veterans to help them grow quickly, then we still stand a chance to make the playoffs. I'd love to see that but ultimately it's about the players. If we, as management, don't think we'll be able to field a competitive roster we'll still try and give our major players the chance to shine in the VHLM.
