40 assists

25 games, 4 goals and 40 assists. Pretty cool, eh? In all fairness getting to play with Vikingstad and Risteneen does not hurt, Vikingstad has over 30 goals and Risteneen at 28 after 25 games, so playmaking winger like myself is in a pretty nice spot to rack up those assists. I just try to keep it simple, battle along the boards and behind the net, get the puck to those two and they fire away. Has worked well so far in the season, but as the season goes forward we need to keep working harder than ever before. Other teams will fairly surely put their top defensive players on us, how do we win that matchup and keep goals coming? That is the battle, but I´m confident that we will be successful and keep on scoring.

 

When the other teams focus more heavily on trying to keep Vikingstand and Risteneen in control, that opens more opportunities for me to score, so the way on how we score as a line might change a little bit because of that. Not a secret that scoring is not exactly my strength, but I´m working on it and hopefully, that work will pay off in the playoffs.
