ROOKIE745 604
I'm seen some people joke that Pepper may be the first goaltender to not make the Hall of Fame that hit the 300 win mark, but respectfully disagree. Of course getting over 300 wins is a huge accomplishment but there is more to it than that. His actual win total is 302 wins in 528 games played, he has a career save percentage of .917 and his save percentage never dropped below .910 in any season, he has a career goals against average of 2.59 and has 30 shutouts in his career. He's gone to the playoffs 7 times out of his 8 season career and has 31 wins in 62 games played, a .920 save percentage, 2.48 goals against average and 4 shutouts. Of course these numbers are still changing as he currently is playing in the playoffs for the last time in his VHL career. What makes this even more remarkable is that he's accomplished all of this with 1 team, while I don't know for sure if he's the only goalie to spend his entire 8 seasons with 1 team it's very rare as I noted in my media spot about goalie leaders for each team. Lastly he of course has won some awards, in his only VHLM season he won the Benoit Devereux trophy which goes to the best goalie of the VHLM in Season 62, he won the Daisuke Kanou trophy for MVP in the playoffs, the Aidan Shaw trophy for best goalie in the VHL, and the Continental cup all in season 66 and the S66 playoffs. Pepper deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, he's been a great and reliable goaltender throughout his entire VHL career, maybe he hasn't won as many awards as other goaltenders but you can't ignore what he has accomplished and his consistency.
