Amidst Real Life Chaos, Off-Season Comes to a Close

It's going to be an odd season 71 I think for the VHL. We may probably see a few more faces here than usual, people a bit more active and if your wondering why it's because most of the world is going on lockdown. But of course, your not wondering that, the real life chaos being caused by the novel Coronavirus rages on, and likely will be an interruption to society for months yet. One of the notable things to life right now is the lack of sports. Well, "real" sports that is.

 

Virtual sport is an entirely other story. And somewhere, hidden amongst the dungeon LARP crowd and sever RP faithful lies the VHL. A niche sports fantasy sim league. I'm generally going to be curious given peoples desire for anything sports related if as the lockdown continues we are able to attract a bit more members than usual. People with free time and a hankering to see some goals scored, even if they are only fictional. 

 

While it has felt like a slightly longer off-season it still has kind of blown by. We had a bunch of announcements and a World Cup running and in general there was always some sort of something going down to pass the time. Still I'm sure many a member are thrilled that it's all wrapped up and we are ready to go. Any crazy wild predictions? Moscow to miss the playoffs after winning the Cup out of nowhere? A random 400 TPA goalie winning the Shaw? What you got?
