Soup on the Saddledome

CALGARY - Last time, we reported about Jacques Lafontaine eating a sandwich on the roof of the Saddledome. Well, fans once again saw the current Wranglers goaltender sitting on top of the Saddledome roof. There was one difference. He wasn't eating a sandwich this time. Perfectly calm on the edge of the roof, he was eating soup.

 

"Props to Ilya Mikheyev for liking soup as much as I do. Anyways, I was on my way to a meeting for some endorsement stuff for Campbell's Soup. Then I got a call. It was some of the guys I was talking about. They told me about how they wanted me to eat their soup on top of the Saddledome roof for promotional stuff. So, we rerouted and I was eating soup up on the Saddledome roof. Honestly though, I should invite more people."

 

So, I guess this won't be the last time we'll see him eating food on the roof.
