ROOKIE745 610
Reporter: Game 67 for the Toronto Legion saw them win against the D.C Dragons, bringing the team to it's final 5 games. The following day we got a hold of the Rookie goaltender, Jaxx Hextall to talk about his first season in the VHL nearing it's end. Hextall: It's really sad, I know I still have 5 more games to look forward to but your first season is always something special and you don't want it to end. We all knew this was going to be a rough season for the team but we've fought hard the whole way through and we've grown as a team. I think we've done much better than people have expected of us and that they cheer us on for our next season, we want Legion fans to have something to cheer for, and know that the team is making a comeback and going to be a contender in hopefully 1 or 2 more seasons. I gotta say to it's gonna be odd setting at home after the season ends, I've just gotten use to being in the playoffs but I'll be using that extra time to train even harder!!. Reporter: The future does look bright for the Legion, Magnum, Killinger and Hextall seem to be the new faces of the team, all 3 of these players have the chance to become super stars if not mega stars in the VHL and that will be important for the Legions success in the future.
