It's been a year of both ups and downs for Andrew Su in the VHLM. At the start of the year, he was ecstatic being drafted in the 3rd round to the Hounds. Even though he felt that he was drafted a bit low for his potential, he was eager to start the year as the star center of the Hounds. He was expected to perform and Su delivered. For the first 17 games of the season, Su was averaging a perfect 2 points per game. Of course, that pace wasn't maintainable for the young prospect, but he still maintained around a 1.8 point per game average going into game 40. Some highlights of Su's season was when he was named official Hound's captain and his first hattrick in a 6 point game in game #14. Despite his individual success, the team was still struggling just outside of the 8th seed for a playoff spot. Su still loved the Hound's but wanted to start winning more and compete in what he wanted to be his lone season in the M. So when then-GM Berocka offered him a chance to go to the Lynx, the #1 seeded team he was happy. Of course, Su was saddened in leaving the place that drafted him and the colourful personalities that made up the locker room of the Hounds, but he was grateful to move on to a competitor. In a relatively massive trade in the M, he was shipped off for a first and second-round pick. In the Lynx, Su would quickly find that he was no longer the big dog on the team. Playing second line minutes and a startling lack of PP or PK time, Su still established himself as an excellent supportive player, averaging just over a point per game. Now as the Lynx have just finished sweeping the 21st, Su is looking forwards to holding up the Cup.
