• 4 games have been played in each series in the VHL playoffs, and one series is already completed. To the surprise of no one who has paid attention to the Moscow - Malmo "rivalry", Moscow continued their dominance over the Nighthawks with a 4-0 sweep, topped off by a commanding 7-2 win in game 4. Vancouver currently has a 3-1 lead over Calgary, while both the D.C-Seattle and Riga-Prague series are tied two a piece. With the highest amount of parity the league has ever seen, it's not a surprise that most of these 1st round series are extremely close.
• It's all but official that Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen will not be taking home any silverware this off-season, unless he somehow becomes a playoff beast. While it's more likely than not that Smitty will make the Hall of Fame, he will need to have a decent season in Season 72 (which will be his last) in order to increase his chances.
• When Werbenjagermanjensen was asked by a Moscow reporter where he was going to be playing next season, he responded, "We're in the playoffs right now. All contract related questions can wait until the end of the season."

I have 1 hour to kill until I must go drive a minimum of 45 minutes to pick up glass flower holder centerpiece things for the wedding. Already had a media spot done last week for this week, so I'm gonna get all my VHL and PBE related writing done.
