WSJ on Early Postseason Exit

Prague Phantoms fourth-year defenseman Wolf Stansson, Jr. finally got a taste of the VHL postseason. And it only lasted a grand total of six games.

 

”This kinda sucked. I mean it was really cool and everything to get to go to the postseason. Especially after missing out on this my first three years with Prague. So that’s a step forward for the squad. 

 

but at the same time I still held higher expectations both of myself and the team. We got off to a super start, winning the first two games. Then we just fell apart and let Riga walk all over us and win the next four games. 
 

I feel bad about sending our goaltender Brick Wahl And center man Joel Ylonen out like this. They truly deserved better than this. Especially Wahl. But that’s the nature of the game and only one team can win. 
 

I’m hoping for more next season but at the same time I am also wondering if we should be expecting anything now that we’re gonna have Solomon Crawford back between the postseason, apparently full time. *gulps*”
