Toronto Forward Looks to Break Out in a Big Way in S72

960x0.jpg?fit=scale

TORONTO, Ontario - After two relatively lackluster seasons for the Toronto Legion, Chad Magnum hopes to finally break out and become the player the Legion had hoped he could be when they traded a glut of picks for him right after the S70 draft. Toronto GM Rylan Peace sent Davos six picks as well as Teagan Glover, to the Dynamo in exchange for a package he hoped would jumpstart the rebuild in Toronto: Chad Magnum, Damien Wolfe, Jaxx Hextall, and Kristopher McDagg. Season 72 will be the first season in which all four of those players will suit up for the Legion, and Toronto fans also hope that Season 72 will be a return to the playoffs for their rebuilding team;  Chad Magnum knows this and definitely feels pressure to produce. He barely eclipsed the 0.5PPG plateau this past season, and simply needs to score more if he wants to lead the Legion to the postseason, as fellow star prospect Erik Killinger will be switching to the blueline in order to fill the hole left by retiring defenseman Aron Nielsen.
