Effort: 2/2 - I'll give it to you since you're just starting out, but there generally needs to be more to a sig for full marks here

Look: 1.5/3 - Eh it's not the greatest, but it's also not the worst I've seen.  I don't want to discourage you from keeping at it because if you keep working at it, you'll only get better.  However, I think blending is sorely missing here and the ghost render doesn't look very good.  The white dots don't fit with the overall feel of the sig and the text is not working.  Try playing with stocks over top of the render, and some adjustment layers as well (even a simple gradient map layer, I would look up some gradient map tutorials on youtube or google) I do like the general placement of the text, but the black font doesn't look good (I would have made it the same color as the jersey.)  I also would have gotten rid of the sub text.  There is also no lighting and it could really use some to bring it out.  I am by no means trying to discourage you from working at it, but everyone has to start somewhere.  Keep working at it and I'm sure you'll get better.  You have a decent start here, it just feels a bit incomplete and with some work this could be good.
