Joromir "JoJo"Jogr grew up in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. Since his birth, his father wanted him to an ice hockey player. Joromir's father was a passionate ice hockey fan and we can partially thank him for pushing Joromir ahead in the beginning. Joromir is really a natural talent, something that has not been seen in Czech Republic since the start of 90's when a similar named rookie entered The Show.  "JoJo" recalls, that he did not like ice hockey when he was young because he wasn't anywhere near the top at the start. He struggled in the beginning but learned very quickly, thanks to his hard work and determination. Joromir started skating at the age of four and ice hockey at the age of five. Surprisingly, his natural talent did not appear until he was 10 years old. Even at young age, Joromir made many heads turn with his terrific speed and puck control.

Joromir joined a local youth club called Prague Plague. Joromir had an option to pick his own jersey number which was very abnormal back then. Not sure if it was his or his dad's decision but he has been using #68 ever since.

At age 14, Joromir soon found himself not giving 110% to the sport. The skill gap between him and other players was too huge and he lost motivation. Joromir even considered retiring and getting a haircut and a real job. A couple of days after that he had a talk with his dad and finally decided to give everything he has to offer to hockey and start training more, harder and faster. Results began to show off how much potential he has. Simply put, he dominated the junior game any way he wanted to.

Four years later in June, Joromir, 18, was offered a contract from a US professional hockey team called The Ottawa Lynx. He accepted the offer and is now eager to prove himself on the US soil. Now it is time to score big.

Joromir is well-known for his size (6'2, 250lbs). He is very talented right winger with terrific offensive skills. His stickhandling is top-notch. Joromir is very strong and he is unstoppable in terms of puckhandling. He often leads the puck single-handedly. He is very dangerous goal-scorer but he also has graduated as a certified playmaker. At only 18 years old, he is already one of the brightest stars in Czech hockey.
