A New Petal

Roseann Petal... She may have a dumb name. She may not be very big. But she can bring a lot to your team. The fearless defender is adept at creating opportunities for her teammates on the ice. She isn't a very physical player, but she uses her incredible skating ability and instincts to grab loose pucks, and intercept passes. Then, she is able to read the ice, and see the best pass. Not only can she see the best pass, she is good enough to make the pass with style. 

 

There are some understandable doubts about her long term potential. However, Petal is sure to make whatever VHLm GM that drafts her very happy. She fits in the mold of Brandon LeBlanc, a player that is elite compared to other VHLM players, but isn't a guaranteed success at the VHL level. For this reason, Petal could drop in the VHLm draft. If this happens, there are going to be GMs slapping themselves for missing the opportunity.
