Smarch 3,153
The District Of Columbia Is Now On The Block In just a few days the D.C. Dragons will be officially on the clock, for the First Overall selection in the Season Seventy-Three VHL Entry Draft. The top earner in the pool of eligible prospects is defenseman Tyler Walker, but the consensus amongst the league does not have the Canadian defenseman taking his talents to D.C. Instead in a recent poll taken by the league, it appears that 36.59 percent of those polled believe that Micah Adrienne will be wearing the Dragon in Season Seventy-Four. Adrienne is coming off a stellar season with the Las Vegas Aces, one that really cemented him on top of the prospect pool. Adrienne put up twenty-three goals and forty-eight assist in the seventy-two regular season games he played for the Aces in Season Seventy-Two, and we believe tonight will be the final reward for all the hard work over the past year and a half in the VHLM. This year’s draft will of course be a little different than we are used to as well, with the prospects all gathering in a virtual green room waiting for their names to be called. Hopefully they will still be able to experience the joys of hearing their names called as the prospect that came before them did.
