Jerry has fast legs

Morning skate today was pain, nothing seemed to go my way and at the end I had to collect all the pucks. I don´t know why but it feels like the coaches of Team World are giving me an extra hard time, perhaps because I´m one of the young guys in the team, but still at the end of the day I play in the VHL, I´m a professional player. Why do I have to share a room with the bus driver when every other player in the roster has their own rooms?

 

Nothing against Jerry, he is a nice guy and really knows how to drive the bus, but I like my privacy, it would be nice to not have to deal with walking into the room after a tough morning skate and see the bus driver laying naked on top of his bed. For an old guy he surprisingly fast, he drove us from the practice rink to the hotel and still, he managed to get up and remove his clothes before I could even walk in. This is the last time I take the stairs while I share a room with him.

 

Other than these little things, this whole World Cup experience has been a lot of fun, the players in Team World roster are elite level, everybody is so good. I think I´m going to learn a lot and on top of that we are perhaps the biggest favorite to win it all, life is good right now.
