With the VHLM Dispersal Draft for Season 73 having come to an end, it is time to look back on the draft and see how players were distributed between the twelve teams.

To begin the top dog of the draft, Center from the United States of America John Merrick, went to the San Diego Marlins. The Marlins end up drafting two more players in the first round, an amazing haul of three players! They finished with a total of eleven draftees, skipping their draft choice in the seventh round.

The Ottawa Lynx found themselves with the Second Overall Pick and Second best rated player of the draft! Also adding another two players, like San Diego, the Lynx had an excellent first round. They continued strong, finishing the draft with 13 players.

Houston Bulls gave up the second selection and chose third overall in the draft. Finishing their draft day with seven picks, which was led by a massive second round with three draft selections.

The Miami Marauders are the third team to strike three times in the first round! In fact they stroke back-to-back, picking King and Socks fourth and fifth overall and then picking seventh overall as well! The Marauders finished the draft with twelve great players, including a massive steal in the fifth round of the draft!

The Las Vegas Aces had the eighth selection in the draft. After missing out in the second round, the Aces end up choosing plenty in the later rounds to finish the draft strong with ten players, however they did miss out on a selection in the seventh round.

The last unique team to select in the first round is the Saskatoon Wild, picking Norberg with the eleventh selection. Draft five in the first three rounds and ending with eight selections for the day.

With that we have gone through half of the teams and their draft results for the S73 VHLM Dispersal Draft! Stay tune next week to hear the results for the remaining six teams!
