Hextall gearing up for season 73

Season 73 is shaping up to be a lot more interesting season thanks to 4 new teams joining the VHL, and Hextall is training hard just as always. "With their being 4 new teams I think it is going to make the whole league much more competitive, so I need to step up my game with a number of new goalies being in the VHL now" Hextall told us. He has been seen at the training facility a lot more recently with teammates Erik Killinger, Chad Magnum, Kris McDagg, Joseph Gainer and even recent draft pick John Merrick. The core of the Legion looks very strong and is only building a strong supporting cast. Hextall has said before that he feels the draft might help the team more than hurt and it seems that way on paper. We asked Hextall how he's feeling about the teams future "I think season 73 will see us make the playoffs again and I hope we make a deep push but I think season 74 will see us be true contenders as long as everyone keep developing well, I know Merrick won't be with us for season 73 but when he comes in season 74 will be just that much better in his rookie season on an even better Legion team." We certainly look forward to the road ahead and we know legion fans should be excited to.
