It's been a few months since the Prague Phantoms have last played a game. Some players are getting bored waiting on the next season to start some are taking extra precautions to be able to come back stronger next season. For Seabass Perrin, he killed his off time going on hiking adventures.

"Yeah I did a few good trips this summer. I even got to go hike Mount Kilimanjaro in June, best experience of my life. It was a little tough coming into this off-season for me. We just finished missing the playoffs and finishing near the bottoms of the standings. Then I had the stress that came with my contract negotiations. I just had to go out there and really take a break from the hockey world for a bit, nothing better than a good hike where there's no cell reception. I'll be honest I haven't even begun to hit the gym or skate yet, this is probably this most under prepared I've ever been coming into a training camp. "

Well lets hope he does get ready as the Phantoms rely on him a lot as he's been a team leader in time on ice since he entered the league 5 years ago. Perrin wasn't really regarded as a offensive defenseman but he's coming off a career best 62 point season that seen him amongst the team leaders in points all season long.
