JigglyGumballs 1,056
Hello and welcome to the Tall Tales in the Rink of Practice. TTRP for short? Anyways, this is a new small article line depicting stories from my current team's practices. A small campfire story of sorts of the things that happen in which I find interesting. No one really likes talking about what happens at practice. Maybe because things seem uninteresting or mundane? Nevertheless, there are always those small little incidents that would give anyone a chuckle, yet no one really speaks of it too much. Most of these will probably be about me to save my teammates from embarrassment. Heck, the idea of this popped into my head when during training camp I went on the ice with my skate guards on. Though that's not the topic of today. Before the regular season officially began, we did a quick practice. It was a scrimmage. But before that, I decided I'd go out of my way and buy a nice tinted visor beforehand. So I went into practice decked out in a nice tinted visor. I remember my teammates chirping me about it, calling me dusty. Even the coach that was helping us practice made remarks about the visor. I remember being called the nickname "tints" because of the visor. That gave me a nice chuckle. Of course, I already knew where I was going with a tinted visor, but boy it was a fun time. I typically have this and another visor I actually use for games that's not tinted. So I do alternate between them every now and then just for fun. I might use the tinted visor in a game to see if I can get some points with em. Though that can be for another time.
