The day before last, on July the 25th Seattle rookie Timothy Brown scored a VHL goal. The special thing about this particular goal was that it was the first of his career.

Like his first goal in the VHLM, Brown didn’t score right away. It took him some time to find his groove in both leagues, 7 games in the VHL and 20 games in the VHLM. A recurring theme in Brown’s career have been slow starts, though Brown did well in the VHLM playoffs. Hopefully this trend will continue in the big leagues, as the regular season doesn’t matter as much if you are clutch when it counts.

Brown’s goal came at 18:58 in the first in Game 66 vs the Vancouver Wolves, assisted by new addition Aleelee Kiak and veteran Ambrose Stark. Brown retrieved the puck and tossed it to one of the trainers after the celebration, and it will surely be a great memory in the future for the young player.
