Fire Tortorella 2,653
So I never actually posted this last night - just sat there unposted in a separate tab...whoops! John LeClair II is having an OK season. The points aren't really there, but they're starting to come in bunches. Through 11 games, I have 8 points, 5 of which are goals and 3 of which are assists. A couple of seasons ago, that would have been a pretty good start, but apparently things have changed in the M since I've last been here, as there are players with 20+ points already. Feels like we're moving back to the days where players could get up to 150 points in the minors. The positive thing so far is that LeClair is hitting everything that moves. He's currently second in hits with 63, only 2 behind the leader, Bobby Wyman. More impressive is the fact that LeClair does not show up in the top 10 of PIMs considering how many hits he has. San Diego is doing pretty well so far. Our 8-3 record has us in 5th place overall, but not far behind the leaders. What I am concerned about from a league health standpoint is the fact that there are two teams that are 0-10 and really FIVE teams that have a huge negative goal differential already. Parity isn't necessarily the VHLM's number 1 goal, but a week into the season we can already tell who isn't a contender, and that can't be great for members on those teams. eaglesfan036 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/88048-my-random-vhl-thoughts-s73-part-1/ Share on other sites
