Past the midway point of his rookie season, a pattern seems to be emerging for London United winger The Terrible Trivium; that pattern is one of coming on strong in the second half of the regular season.

In his only full year in the VHLM, Trivium hovered below a point per game pace for much of the time with the Minnesota Storm. In the final few weeks, though, it seemed as if he found an extra gear and  he finished with 76 points in 72 games.

Now a rookie in England's capitol, he has found himself the beneficiary of the trade that sent star forward Guy Lesieur back to D.C. With an obvious scoring void on the top line, Trivium has stepped up his game and sits at 27 goals on the season, which is good for first on London and second amongst all VHL rookies.

"A few short weeks ago, Trivium was 10-plus points shy of point per game status," an anonymous scout said. "Now he's only, what, four points shy? He's really stepped up his game and should be a big part of London for years to come."
