Kevin King is on the final stretch of his VHLM career and is on his way to starting his VHL career with Vancouver. King will hope to get his team to crawl back from being 3-1 down to Minnesota on this final leg of the Founder’s Cup. King had this to say following two tough losses to Minnesota:

“It’s frustrating ya know. I’ve done a lot of good things this postseason but ultimately it means very little if we can’t crawl back now against a good club in Minny. They know how to play; this isn’t Miami’s first dogfight with these guys and we just need to put together 60 solid minutes of hockey in game 5 to get a shot. We start there and then when game 6 rolls in we do it again.”

King had some strong words about his team’s performance but pointed out that they’ve been through worse and that this series isn’t over yet. We’ll see what happens tomorrow when Minnesota clashes with Miami in game 5 of the Founder’s Cup Finals.
