SlapshotWrangler 864
CALGARY - The Calgary Wranglers lost to the Seattle Bears in 7 games. It was a devastating loss as the Bears were able to claw back from a 3-1 series lead for Calgary, winning three games in a row to send them to the Continental Cup Finals where they’d eventually win it all against the Helsinki Titans. Jacques Lafontaine had a good performance throughout the playoffs but couldn’t seem to show up for the seventh game of the second round. He let in 5 goals in a 5-3 loss for Calgary. “I sucked. No sugarcoating it. I sucked. I couldn’t make saves, I was out of position, and I let in some pretty bad goals. Maybe the pressure of the game 7 got to me, maybe it was an off night. Either way, I lost us the game and more importantly, the series. I have no excuses. I have to be different next season.” DoktorFunk 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/90571-the-end-for-now/ Share on other sites
