Dtayl 104
Dear San Diego, It has been a wild ride here in San Diego, from bottom of the barrel to one of the top teams in the league we have been through alot in the past 2 seasons. Along the way I have made some really good friends, and learned alot about both life and hockey. So it is with great sadness and at the same time great memories that I bid farewell to San Diego and the Marlins organization. The fans, the team and my teammates have been better than I could’ve ever asked for. Although they didn’t draft me, San Diego was the first team to trust me and let me play my game. They treated me like family and for that I will be forever grateful. Though I am sad we fell short of our goal to bring a trophy to the city, I am proud that we competed so hard and gave it everything we had. I will remember San Diego with fondness and happy memories whenever I look back on my time here. I hope you all will do the same when you remember me as a Marlins player. The journey for me does not stop here though, I will join the reigning champs Seattle on their quest for back-to-back championships and yet another trophy to add to their growing collection. I hope you all continue to support me as I chase my dreams in the big leagues. Thank you for everything, HJK Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/90757-hjk-pens-goodbye-to-sdm/ Share on other sites
