A Look at How Rhynex Entertainment became a Hockey Top Prospect

 

Rhynex Entertainment was born in Mission, BC. His family moved to Vancouver, BC when he was 9 years of age. This was a result from bringing his brother to Vancouver for High School. Rhynex did not start out as a hockey player, instead he followed his brother's footsteps as a speed skater. The elegance, the smooth skating, strength and power, and of course brilliant thrill of speed, these were the qualities Rhynex tried to stimulate in his daily skates. Something the Entertainment family was proud of, the possibility of having two speed skating Olympians in the future, to follow the footsteps of Rhynex's parents, whom were both speed skating Olympians. The Entertainment family left Mission, on a mission to bring two boys to the Olympic games.

 

 

However, everything changed one December day while doing laps in the neighbourhood rink. Rhynex met up with a group of kids playing ice hockey. Rhynex did not pay much attention to the game at first, but there was a girl that caught his eye. The girl was a year younger at that time, she was 8, but was also one of the best skaters on the ice that day. Her smooth skating, along with incredible speed was hard to avoid; and she was doing all that in heavy clothes and while holding a stick! Another girl saw Rhynex watching and invited Rhynex to join in the game. This was the first time Rhynex had ever played hockey, abid not knowing the rules at all. This group of kids soon became good friends of Rhynex, and coincidentally they soon found themselves as classmates in the elementary school Rhynex was entering late in January. This was actually the first time Rhynex had gone to public school, after being home schooled beforehand. Rhynex quickly became immersed in the game of hockey.

 

Started his hockey life as a defenseman under the guidance of the girl who had initially invited Rhynex to the game of hockey, Rhynex learnt the importance of hard work and defensive play. Rhynex's game improved drastically over the following couple of years, but the defensive play lacked the oomph and excitement that caught Rhynex's eyes that day in the local rink. It was in the start of High School when Rhynex converted his game from playing defence to that of a forward. Rhynex never forgot the importance of hard work and defensive play and kept it intact with his play upfront. The transformation became even more suitable and fitting when Rhynex played in the center. The ability to cover the most areas of the ice intrigued Rhynex and that was the beginning of Rhynex's hockey career as a Centerman.

 

 

Although the Entertainment family was disappointed in not having two speed skaters in the family, Rhynex found his way into the highly recognized hockey league, VHL. While still a prospect, as a teenager at the age of 16, there is much room for growth and a huge prospect of luxury in the future. Something a speed skater might not ever receive. Only time will tell, maybe one day Rhynex would also be an Olympian, just not as a speed skater.
