Moscow's 14-9 start is 'good, but not good enough'

The Menace have some improvements to make if they want to stay in the cup contention conversation. A 14-9 record places them 4th out of 8 teams in the EU conference. While the offense is hustling and bustling, the defense has seemed to have a mental lapse pretty much every second game. This should raise an eyebrow or 2 given the on paper defense and goalie tandem. Bernard is having the most 'I need a question mark for the question mark' season with an under .900 sv%. Raymond is not all to blame in the slightest, as some on ice defensive lapses have been present as well. "It's good one game then bad the next, and it's causing higher scoring chances for the other teams, so that .894 shouldn't all be on Bernard's shoulders. Once we clean up our Defense, we should be just fine." Telker commented. Riga and Malmo have gotten off to the hottest starts of the season with 38 and 34 points respectively.
