ROOKIE745 604
The Toronto Legion have manged to regain some ground, digging themselves out of the hole they put themselves in at the beginning of the season. The Legion are now 10-11-1 and Hextall has been in net for all 22 games so far. Despite his play getting better he still feels he's been letting the team down. "You know I just look at some of those early games and how close they were and say to myself, if only I'd been able to make that one more save, if only I got that one. I know it's a thing all goalies do but if I had at least been able to drag some of those games to overtime or outright win them we wouldn't be in this situation. We out chanced them in so many games and I just couldn't make the damn saves." Hextall currently sits with a .907 save percentage and 3.06 goals against average and no shutouts so far. Rough numbers for sure and in contrast to his previous 2 season where Hextall had very strong starts, but the positive side is there's still plenty of season left. On another note Hextall it a milestone playing with the Legion, recording his 100th win with the franchise and tying Hans Wingate for 3rd all time. He sits 37 behind JB Rift and 118 behind Torstein Ironside. He sits 3rd in games played as well at 216, behind Rift's 265 and Ironside's 386.
