The Philadelphia Reapers are just holding onto the 4th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with 46 points. This puts them 2 ahead of the Miami Marauders who have 44 points with a game in hand and a better winning percentage. Both teams trail Ottawa who holds onto 3rd in the conference with 53 points. Both Philly and Miami are in reach of third but it seems we will come down to the wire with Miami and Philly fighting for the last playoff spot. Halifax, Las Vegas and Mississauga are the top contenders in the VHLM while Saskatoon and Yukon could be darkhorses. The rest, Mexico City, Ottawa, Philadelphia and Miami will most likely be first round fodder.

 

SAZ on the other hand has put up a decent season in Philly scoring 3 goals and assisting on 20 goals for 23 points in 53 games. He has 172 hits and 72 shots blocked making him a very fine two way defenseman. It remains to be seen if SAZ will continue to play for the Reapers as it seems SAZ will be looking to make the jump to the VHL next year. He may not be ready but it be like that sometimes because the VHL has some dumb rules stating after you get drafted your 8 season clock starts even if you return to the VHLM when you aren't ready. Stupid VHL is Stupid.
