Tom Eagles grew up in a hockey family and was always surrounded by hockey one way or the other. Everyone knew his dad, Greg Eagles, who also played in the VHLM and the VHL.

Tom Eagles decided to follow his dad's path in a hockey career but chose to go as a defenseman. Before signing with the Marlins, who his dad also played on, Tom had a very good early hockey career.

He grew up playing in Poland when he was younger, always being the top line pairing D on any of his teams due to the reputation that his last name carried. Every talked about his great leadership and his willingness to help everyone around him. Even from an early age people talked about his amazing puck handling skills which he has carried throughout his whole career.

He was called up multiple times to the Poland national team as well as he always traveled with his dad to the World Championships as well, where he got to train with some of the best in the world.

As he got older he bounced around cities because of his Dad. He played some league games in San Diego before playing in the Junior leagues in Canada. Most notable Vancouver where his dad played most of his career. When his dad went to Riga, Tom decided to stay in Canada and play in the CHL.

In the CHL, more specifically the WHL, he played for the Vancouver Giants where he won multiple awards for Top Defenseman and Top rookie. He was also named Captain due to his locker room presence and maturity on the ice.

Tom is known for being a Defensive D-Man who can also feed you the puck. He has put up huge shot blocked numbers as well as assists and is known to be an excellent puck handler. He does need to work on his scoring and needs to work on more physicality as with his size, he should hit more.

He know begins his career in the VHLM where he decided to join his dads old stomping grounds in San Diego. There he will continue to build his rise as one of the top defenseman the league has ever seen. The Eagles pedigree should help him achieve this and he looks forward to playing in his first VHLM games where he hopes to make a great impression on his new team-mates and also an impression on the VHL scouts. While he knows he won't put up massive amounts of points in his first year, he is more focused on providing solid defensive play with a lot of blocked shots to help his goalie out.
