Seabass 593
Perrin has had a rather inconsistent season in Helsinki, he'll be fire for 2-3 games and then non-existent the next 7 games and the cycle has seemed to repeat itself all season long. "This season has been rather disappointing for me as I thought I'd come here to Helsinki and hopefully have myself a career year knowing how many goals Helsinki scored last season and the success they had going all the way to the finals. I was also hoping I'd finish the year in the positives plus/minus but that's out of the question now." Perrin has currently has 43 points to his name and is -9 for the year. When acquiring Perrin Helsinki thought they were bringing in a experienced defenseman that was going to further improve their team. If anything Perrin seemed to have been anything but as the Titans regressed to the point of barely grasping onto one of the final wildcard spots. Perrin has looked frustrated and that has further hindered his team by also taking more penalties. "We're still in this though and we're not out of it and if we work on finishing the season strong, we might even get ourselves out of the wildcard round. So let's not worry so much about what has happened lets just focus on what we can do now to better our odds of making the playoffs. To me all that matters is making the playoffs, after we do that who cares what happened during the season because come playoff time, it's anyone's game . I came here to hopefully win the Continental Cup and I still intend to do that, i'm not done and I still have lots left in the tank." Despite the off year Perrin still has a chance to hit the 50 point mark for the 4th season in a row but the odds are against him as he's currently 7 point away from that mark. He'd have to at least score a point in 7 of the teams remaining 9 games. The odds are slim but Perrin still has a chance to finish the year strong.
