Tom Eagles first few games

It has been a decent start for Tom in the VHLM. The new player and son of Riga goalie, Greg Eagles, has already put up a few points.

In his first 13 games he has put up 7 points, which were all assists. He is still looking for his first goal and he hopes it will come before the season ends. On the defensive stats he is -8 with 17 hits and 19 blocked shots.

" I am still getting used to the VHLM, guys here are a lot faster and bigger then the CHL. I am still looking for that first goal but I am happy with my assists so far. " Said Tom " Right now I am focusing more on being better defensively. I need to use my body more to generate more hits and more shots blocked. I am also working on my offensive game with the team coaches. I know in order to be successful I need to be a threat on both ends of the ice"

 

Tom is now looking to finish off the last remaining games in the VHLM and work hard in the off-season as the Marlins will not be making the playoffs this season
