The Hounds really slipped at the end of the season falling from 2nd to 4th. Askarov played well, but something felt off heading in. Which worried the goalie, however it seems he re-found his game. The Hounds cruised to a 4-1 series win. Plenty of players did their part Askarov included.

With a solid team effort, they are now moving towards the next round. Who they will be playing is totally unknown at this point. But if they play as good as they did in round one they can take anyone in the playoffs. We know this team was riding high till the huge struggle at the end so will they see a jeckel and hyde act again? If they can keep the momentum going they should atleast push to the finals if not win the cup.
