Telkster 550
Moscow may be the big favourites to win the series against Helsinki, but it started it off with a 1-1 record on Sunday. Moscow had a great game 1, winning 5-3 and getting 39 shots. Their were some slightly worrying signs in game 1, like the 50 shots that Moscow allowed. Bernard held his ground and game 1 goes Moscow’s way. Game 2 is where further problems arose. The Menace offence had a tough outing and lost game 2 by a score of 3-2. Moscow were also out shot 30-27, including just 4 first period shots. “Whatever is holding us back we have to shake off and get back to how we were playing.” Telker commented. Telker had a great game 1 getting the 3rd star and 2 points. Game 3 and 4 will presumably go on Monday, as I’m sure either team will hope to take a 3-1 series grasp.
